Mookie Betts of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves and Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres were named finalists for the National League’s Most Valuable Player award.
Jose Abreu of the Chicago White Sox, DJ LeMahieu of the New York Yankees and Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Indians have also been named finalists for the MVP award in the American League.
The winners of the MVP awards will be announced on Nov. 12.
