Nowadays, there’s few things as rare as an Emma Watson sighting. Luckily, when we do get a glimpse of the actress and activist, it’s always something to write home about. This time, Watson attended Elton John’s AIDS Foundation’s view party of the Academy Awards, and in true style, opted for a fashion-forward look that immediately left the Who What Wear office buzzing.

But one there’s a continual thread that can be woven through all these sightings, Emma’s style is always pushing fashion boundaries. This time, she opted for an oh-so-relevant sheer moment courtesy of Gabriela Hearst, with pointed toe boots peeping out beneath, accumulating in an overall 90’s feel. The long length and romantic off-shoulder design balanced out the more risqué appeal of the sheer fabrication. With warmer days arriving and our social calendars beginning to fill up, we think we’ll this sheer style is one to consider re-creating over the coming months.
