From London to Paris, Everyone is Asking for This Elevated Autumn Nail Trend

It’s no secret that French-tip nails are back in fashion, and in my opinion, this manicure is better than ever. From micro French tips to colourful designs, there are so many fun ways to wear the popular trend. However, as we go into autumn, it seems that brown French tip nails are going to dominate.

That’s right, everyone in London to Paris will be asking for chocolatey brown French tips, and I’m not mad about it. In fact, I’m kind of obsessed. Not only will this manicure go with all of the autumnal tones in my wardrobe, but I think it’s such an elevated way of wearing the French tip design for the colder months.

You don’t have to opt for a classic finish either. Lots of people are trying this trend out in their own way, from reverse French tips, micro French tips and even matte French tips! There are so many ways to wear the manicure, no matter what kind of nails you are into. Don’t believe me? I’ve rounded up some of my favourite brown French-tip nail designs for autumn and beyond, so keep on scrolling for all the proof you need that this really is the most elevated manicure of the season…

A micro French tip is so timeless.

Thi is definitely one of the coolest ways to wear this trend.

Tortoiseshell French tips? Yes please!

Match your mani to your handbag all autumn.

This matte brown nail design features a glossy brown French tip, and I’m obsessed with the different textures.

What a fun take on the classic nail art trend.

Why not switch things up and opt for a dark brown polish with a light nude French tip?

I think I’ve found my Christmas nails for 2023.

To recreate the look at home, you’ll need to start with a dark brown nail polish like this one from OPI.

Nail brushes are a great way to practise doing a French tip without having to go to the salon.

Once you’ve painted on your design, seal everything in with a clear top coat.

If you don’t fancy painting your nails, try press-ons instead.
