Scroll through her recent images and you’ll find hints that something strawberry-inspired may be on the way, with Bieber showcasing berry-flushed cheeks and lip looks alongside a wardrobe of berry hues. The strawberry girl aesthetic soon caught on, and we can confirm that a new launch has just landed: Rhode Peptide Lip Treatment in Strawberry Glaze (£16).
Telling Who What Wear UK exclusively in a video, Bieber shared the exact lip combination she has been wearing lately to achieve the strawberry-glazed look, which features a brand new flavour—inspired no less by Krispy Kreme’s Strawberry Glazed doughnut, which was Bieber’s favourite flavour growing up.
“This has to be my favorite flavour that we’ve launched so far,” Bieber told Who What Wear UK exclusively. “It has been in the works for a very, very long time and it smells like every delicious, yummy, amazing strawberry treat that you can think of. For me personally, it was very inspired by a strawberry glaze or strawberry-frosted doughnut with sprinkles because that was my favourite doughnut to get growing up. It’s very nostalgic for me,” she says.
