For many of us, our homes have become a place of work, rest and socialising through 2020 and right into 2021, so it comes as no surprise that luxury e-commerce site Matchesfashion.com recently reported a massive 43% growth in homeware sales on-site over the last year. “Everyone I know, including myself, is making their home look as uplifting as possible”, says Natalie Kingham, Fashion and Buying Director. “We are hosting or attending intimate gatherings when we can, so it makes sense to invest in homewares to brighten both your environment and mood.”
Arket may not seem like the most obvious place for interiors, but anyone who has stepped into one of its stores will know the enviable Scandi pieces they offer. The brand’s Linnea Andersson blanket has been all over Insta, so it was no surprise to see it at the top of the best-sellers list.
Matchesfashion’s homeware offering is relatively new, but it’s become a go-to for the fashion crowd for finding cult new brands. It might be on the higher end budget-wise, but these are pieces that are worth saving up for. Helle Mardahl’s sculptural vases have shot right to the top of our wishlist.
John Lewis & Partners is definitely the most iconic brand of our interiors line-up, and it has long been a reliable destination for beautiful design with a high street price point. In terms of trend-savvy design, it has really pushed the boat out in recent years, and we are loving the current offering of rattan furniture.
Though only 10 years old, Made.com has quickly established itself as the destination for homeware-loving Millennials. From rugs and room dividers, to curtains and chairs, there’s so much to scroll through, but trust us, it’ll be worth the time investment.
