I Just Assembled 4 Winter Outfits From H&M That Will Make You Look Rich

Winter can be really hard to dress for. Your first priority is usually warmth, and for me personally, comfort comes a close second, with style often taking a back seat. Add in some dark, uninspiring mornings and my go-to outfits can easily become a combination of the cosiest items I lay my hands on when I open my wardrobe. I presume I’m not alone in this winter outfit rut, so after recently browsing through H&M’s impressive new-in section, I thought it might be helpful to assemble four ready-made, affordable (but still chic) H&M winter outfits to inspire us all.

Whether you’ve got festive events on the brain—from Christmas Day to parties in the run up—or your cosy weekend-wear is feeling like it needs a refresh, the four outfits below should have you covered. As always when shopping H&M, I’ve focused on the most classic styles that you’ll be able to add to your regular rotation with ease. A lot of the pieces also come from H&M’s Premium Selection, which, although sometimes a little more pricey, is my expert’s hack for finding the most expensive-looking H&M buys that will last you way more than just a few wears.

As we know with H&M, the good stuff goes very quickly. So keep scrolling now to see and shop these four key H&M winter outfits. And you can thank me later…

There’s nothing garish about this understated party look, and it could be taken from dinners to Christmas day itself easily. My biggest pet peeve is festive outfits that can’t be worn after January 1st, but switch the chandelier earrings fro some gold hoops and you can pull this one out again and again. I expect this suit (which comes in cream too) to sell out in record speed because of how expensive it looks.

On winter weekends all I want to be is cosy, but I can easily start to feel lazy recycling my tracksuit for the third time that week. This is the perfect alternative, with small tweaks like these tailored ‘joggers’, chic camel coat and wool cap which make a comfy outfit still look pulled-together.

The older I get the more I turn to my tried and tested outfit formulas. Enter: a coat, knit, straight-leg trouser and ankle boot combo. The interesting moss green hue of this coat and leather-look trousers save it from feeling boring, though.

If there’s ever an option to wear leggings out of the house, I will. And these 80s-style split-hem ones definitely feel elevated enough to do so. However, it’s the designer-looking toe cap heels which make this outfit feel like something Kendall Jenner or Hailey Bieber would wear out, so inevitably they’ll sell out fast.
