If there’s one brand I love shopping for autumn, it’s ARKET. While other affordable destinations can easily pander to of-the-moment trends when the new season arrives, ARKET always stays true to what it’s good at and leans into the classics—and I’d argue that there’s no better season to invest in those than autumn.
Think tailored blazers over jeans and loafers, chic trench coats paired with crisp white shirts and wide-leg trousers, and midi dresses with knee high boots. That perfect not-too-hot, not-too-cold weather of autumn lends itself perfectly to a lightly layered outfit, which, after a summer of navigating a lot of skin on show, feels wholly fresh in itself. And certainly anything but boring.
Now, I know we’re still in the midst of August, and for some of you that means the summer holidays still. But September is a mere 26 days away, and no matter how warm it is outside the new collections are coming in thick and fast, and feeling significantly more fall-appropriate, so bare with me. When scrolling through ARKET’s new-in section recently there were in fact so many great autumn pieces that I ended up getting a little over-excited and assembling them into five chic outfits to have in my inspiration bank. But I know I’ll wear these through winter with added coats and even next autumn too.
