I Put Together 5 Stylish Winter Outfits Entirely From & Other Stories

A big part of my job is spotting great outfits; there’s nothing I love more than stumbling across an impressive ensemble on Instagram and adding it to my Saved folders to share with you when the time is right. That is, except perhaps assembling the outfits for myself! I started my fashion career as a stylist, and while I wouldn’t trade my Who What Wear writing gig for the world, there is something undeniably satisfying about pulling together an outfit from scratch. Only now, instead of styling on a model, I get my creative fix by way of a curated outfit build.

This week, I’ve focused my energy on & Other Stories. The brand’s winter collection has just landed on site, and there are so many excellent shopping options. I thought it would be fun to see how they look paired together to create winter outfits for all occasions.

From the jeans-and-blazer combination that can carry you seamlessly from the working week straight into Saturday brunch to the party pieces I know will be swift to sell out, scroll on to see the five & Other Stories winter outfits I’d very much like to wear this season.

There’s always something so stylish about offsetting a miniskirt with a chunky knit. Add knee-high boots and a gold chain–style necklace for extra sass.

This jumper shape also comes in a chic stripe iteration.

An essential in any fashion person’s jewellery box.

You could try matching the shade of your scarf to that of your jumper to pull your look together all the more.

I own this in plain black and get so much wear out of it.

How these incredible boots are still in stock is beyond me.

Breton stripes and blue jeans are a classic for a reason. Play on the timelessness of the combination with a simple woollen blazer and loafers for a look that you can rely on for so many wintry occasions.

The thick woollen fabrication will keep you 100% toastier than standard blazers.

Whenever a new colour is released in this long-sleeve silhouette, you know I buy it.

These will go with (and improve) every outfit.

These jeans come so highly rated by my colleagues.

& Other Stories has some of the most premium-looking loafers on the high street.

For the days when staying warm is the utmost priority, look no further than this robe coat, legging, mock-neck knit and chunky boot quartet.

This classic coat also comes in beige and navy.

It’s officially beanie season.

I prefer wearing mock-neck jumpers, as they’re far less constricting than roll-neck styles.

I’d live in these all day, every day if I could.

The longer shaft will help to keep your feet even cosier.

It’s never too early to start thinking about party season, and & Other Stories already has some of the best pieces I’ve come across. This velvet dress/white blouse hybrid has been a best seller for the brand over the past few years—bring it bang up to date with platforms and rhinestone earrings.

The cutest party dress!

More of a jeans and T-shirt kind of person? Add these earrings, and you’re ready to party.

A slick of red lipstick is never a bad idea.

Patent finishes keep cropping up this year; I’m into them.

Just wow!

Wide-leg trousers are still going strong. Personally, I like styling them with fitted or cropped tops to create an hourglass silhouette. Add a belt to cinch your waist and on-trend slingback shoes for instant flair.

This went straight into my basket.

Refined belts can make any outfit look more expensive.

& Other Stories has some of the best wide-leg tailoring around.

That’s right. Simple bangles are back. Wear this style on its own or buy a couple to stack together.

Another & Other Stories item I own and will recommend to anyone who’ll listen.
