I Want to Look Cute and Stay Cosy This Christmas—4 Looks That Nail the Brief

Christmas is mere days way, and as it stands, it looks like we’re in for a chilly one. If, like me, you simply cannot stand being cold, then the thought of spending a winters day in anything other than a fluffy coat, or layers of thermals feels entirely hateful.

But, at the same time, I do believe that the festive period is the perfect time to bring in a little variety. So, below I have chronicled four easy, and most importantly, warm, outfits to see you through the Christmas period in style.

Whether you’re staying in for a casual day at home, getting glammed with loved ones, or spending a considerable amount of time on a Christmas day walk, read on to discover four stylish—yet warm, Christmas outfits below.

Style Notes: Stay warm in style in the season’s favourite fuzzy coat. Don’t forget the gloves, and throw on a cosy hat for good measure.

Stay warm in style.

This classic coat is a favourite in the Who What Wear UK office.

Straight-leg jeans are a cold-weather necessity.

Style with a thick sock for extra warmth.

Style Notes: If you’re in the mood to dress up a little, an oversized turtleneck, and a wool midi skirt is the warm, yet put-together combination to know about. If you’re hoping to bundle up a little more, style with some thick tights and a thermal layer underneath.

A bright white jumper looks so elegant in winter.

Style with kitten heels or knee high boots.

Bring the sparkle.

The festive season calls for shimmer.

Style Notes: If your Christmas day will comprise of a simple, cosy get-together then there’s no harm in dressing for it. Forget about sparkles and blazers, a cashmere jogger and wool cardigan is all you need to make the most out of your laid-back day.

This also comes in three other colours.

This is my all-time favourite white t-shirt.

A wardrobe luxury like no other.

So cosy, so comfortable.

Style Notes: Red is without a doubt one of the biggest colour trends of the year, but it really comes into its own during the winter period. Style a chic red knit with a longline maxi skirt, and throw on some knee-high boots for extra insulation.

Style with your favourite jeans, or dress this up with a sparkly mini.

This maxi skirt is as comfortable as it is chic.

A glitsy belt will do all the hard work for you.

Wear with thick tights for extra warmth.
