I'm a Fashion Editor, and These Are the Best Buys From M&S's Latest Drop

As a fashion editor, it’s my job to keep an eye on the latest pieces dropping from your favourite brands, and every now and then, a whole collection is too good to ignore. Denim lovers, accessories fanatics and those with a penchant for refined colour palettes, I’m happy to tell you that Marks and Spencer‘s new-in collection is packed full of pieces you are going to love. I’ve lost count of the number of items I bookmarked as I scrolled through the brand’s website, but I have done my best to whittle down my selection of seriously lust-worthy buys.

Content creator Yatri wears a now sold-out Marks & Spencer blazer.

One of the first pieces that caught my eye was the perfect pair of relaxed tailored trousers, which I know will dress up or down with ease. Next, there’s some very impressive shoes to be had, too, with M&S’s best-selling ballet flats having a recent restock. I also have to give a shout-out to the khaki shoulder bag, which honestly looks three times its price and also comes in black. But I don’t want to give away all my secrets in one go, so keep scrolling to see the M&S new-in pieces that I’m really into this season. You can thank me later.

I know these trousers are going to fly.

The ideal top to update with your trusty jeans.

I can’t believe how affordable this designer-looking bag is.

No need to size up—this jacket has a perfectly executed relaxed fit.

You know it’s spring when white dresses start to populate new-in sections.

Ballet flats are still trending hard this season, and this pair has an extra comfy sole.

A great striped sweatshirt will work hard for you all year round.

Bomber jackets are big news this season, and this is a great affordable option.

Such a great colour.

M&S is backing slouchy denim in a big way.

It’s almost basket bag season!

This will instantly make your jeans look more expensive.

All of my favourite Instagram outfits right now feature a classic Oxford shirt.

Chunky necklaces were all over the spring/summer 2023 runways.

The cutouts make this dress feel so current.

Switch up your monochrome stripes in favour of an equally classy green.

Ah trench coats, is there anything that signals the departure of winter more than shedding your woollen styles for this chic classic?

A great layering piece.

These will make everything else you wear feel more springlike.

This also comes in a sleek sage hue.

M&S is ruling the handbag game at the moment.

These will dress up even the simplest of tops.

This draped dress looks so much more expensive than its pricetag.

Gauzy knits speak “spring”.

If you want to tap into the’70s aesthetic  without breaking the bank, consider this stylish clog.

A very sleek interpretation of the denim skirt trend that’s taking over this season.
