Jets even series with Game 2 shutout victory vs. Stars

The Winnipeg Jets needed a statement Game 2, and they delivered.

Connor Hellebuyck lead the way as the Jets dominated the Dallas Stars 4-0 to bring their second-round series back to square.

Gabriel Vilardi opened the scoring with the eventual game-winner in the first period on the power play. Nikolaj Ehlers doubled the lead just under four minutes later.

Adam Lowry also scored for the Jets, while Ehlers dealt the final blow into an empty net with 3:40 remaining in the game. The Danish forward finished with two goals and an assist.

The series shifts to Dallas as Game 3 takes place on Sunday.
