Kate Middleton's French Sister-in-Law Has Incredible Dress Sense

Kate Middleton‘s sister Pippa never needed an introduction again after that bridesmaid dress, but now there’s yet another chic member of the family to keep an eye on. In September last year, Alizee Thevenet married Kate and Pippa’s brother, James Middleton, and she has a cool, relaxed kind of style that I think you’ll love. Thevenet is French, works as a finance director in London, and from the looks of her Instagram, happily co-parents James’s five dogs. Talk about goals.

Thevenet and Middleton have attended all manner of events since becoming betrothed; everything from a carol service at Westminster Abbey to this year’s Wimbledon. One thing has remained consistent at each do: Thevenet’s personal style. She’s donned some ultra-chic looks that we thought were worth talking about, incorporating pieces from well-known Parisian brands and emerging independent labels. Scroll down to see our favourites, plus the pieces you need to recreate her look.

Style Notes: This outfit, sported by Thevenet as she attended a Peruvian Connection event, is simultaneously classic and current, incorporating two hugely relevant items: a trench coat and cowboy boots.

I can see this trench working with so many outfits.

Everyone needs a staple pair of mid-blue jeans.

When it comes to cowboy boots, I think traditional designs are the most timeless.

Style Notes: It’s always refreshing to see a celebrity wearing an affordable brand. In this case, it’s a houndstooth Sézane suit, and devastatingly, it’s no longer in stock. That being said, we did hunt down some equally chic alternatives…

A good time is guaranteed in this suit.

Mix and match the separates to get even more wear out of this set.

The right white button-down can be slotted into countless outfits.

Style Notes: Thevenet was the talk of Wimbledon when she wore this beautiful co-ord, designed by Australian label Scanlan Theodore. A pair of oxblood boots would look just as chic with this ensemble.

Navy always looks so sophisticated.

This silhouette is really flattering.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of white plimsolls.

Style Notes: All-over florals are incredibly elegant, and there’s something so vintage about this maxi dress. The gold touch adds a contemporary flair.

This long floral dress is the epitome of romantic.

Your new go-to occasion bag.

Dainty yet impactful.

Style Notes: Someone who can pull off all-white—especially when carrying a glass of wine!—is as chic as it gets, as far as I’m concerned. I love the relaxed fit of this tailored set.

Arket’s tailored pieces will never disappoint.

Cool and casual.

So classic.

Style Notes: Thevenet was surely the best-dressed wedding guest in this paisley-print midi dress, styled with simple nude pumps, a gold-trimmed clutch and a woven boat hat.

I’d layer this over a turtleneck and switch my heels for knee-high boots in the colder months.

Keep the sun out of your eyes (and look cute while you do it).

You’ll be reaching for these constantly throughout wedding season.

Style Notes: I’ll be recreating this look at the earliest opportunity. The blazer combined with the short hemline and black ankle boots is all kinds of cool.

This premium piece will boost every outfit.

Short and sweet.

Biker boots will always be in style. Fact.
