Lightning defeat Canadiens in Game 5 to clinch Stanley Cup

This time, the celebration won’t happen in a bubble.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have clinched their second straight Stanley Cup, defeating the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 in Game 5, securing the series in front of their hometown fans.

A tightly contested affair to the end, Lightning rookie Ross Colton scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the second period of Game 5.
