
The defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning scored goals in all three periods, en route to a 4-1 victory over the Rangers in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Tuesday night, to even their series at 2-2.
The Rangers’ power play managed to get one back with 3:33 remaining in the game, but otherwise Tampa goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy was unbeatable.
Pat Maroon, Nikita Kucherov, and Steven Stamkos all scored a period apart, capped by an emtpy-netter from Ondrej Palat, while Vasilevskiy made 33 saves. Artemi Panarin had New York’s lone goal.
