Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani will challenge current Home Run Derby champ Pete Alonso at Coors Field in Denver, and the altitude alone indicates this will be a Derby for the ages.
Of course, Ohtani is not alone on the list of sluggers trying to dethrone the New York Mets infielder. Joey Gallo, Juan Soto, Trevor Story, Matt Olson, Trey Mancini and Salvador Perez will try to steal the show and the crown on Saturday night.
