The Los Angeles Dodgers and Tampa Bay Rays are the last teams standing from their respective leagues, and now they’ll face off in a World Series unlike any other. They outlasted an additional playoff round, as well as an absence of off-days and home field advantages.
The Dodgers were the top seed in the National League, while the Rays were the leaders on the American League side. It’s only fitting that we’ll now see best vs. best.
