Montreal’s Bell Centre set to host UFC 315 in May

The octagon is set to make its return north of the border, this time for a major pay-per-view event.

Montreal’s Bell Centre will play host to UFC 315, scheduled for May 10, 2025, the organization announced on Friday.

The fight card has not yet been announced.

UFC 315 is set to be the first UFC event hosted at the Bell Centre since UFC 186 back in 2015, which was headlined by a flyweight championship bout between Demetrious Johnson and Kyoji Horiguchi. Overall, it will be the eighth event in Montreal, all of which have been at the Bell Centre.

Montreal staged the UFC’s first show in Canada, UFC 83 in April 2008, when local favourite Georges St-Pierre stopped Matt (The Terror) Serra in the second round to regain his welterweight title.

Some of the biggest names in the sport have garnered their fame in the building that plays host to the Montreal Canadiens. Notably, the St. Isidore, Que. native St-Pierre defended his welterweight title three times at Bell Centre, with wins over Nick Diaz, Carlos Condit and Josh Koscheck in the early 2010s.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Feb. 28.

It’s the first PPV event in Canada since UFC 297: Strickland vs. Du Plessis in January of 2024 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. The promotion’s last show in Canada was a Fight Night card last November in Edmonton. The main event saw former flyweight champion Brandon (The Assassin Baby) Moreno win a decision over Amir (The Prince) Albazi.
