- George Hill says team is ‘tired of killings and injustice’
On an extraordinary day for the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Game 5 of their playoff series against the Orlando Magic in protest at the police shooting of Jacob Blake.
Wednesday’s other two playoff games – between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets; and the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers – were also later postponed. The games are expected to be rescheduled for a later date. Milwaukee’s baseball team, the Brewers, confirmed they would not play their game scheduled for Wednesday evening either, with other MLB teams considering taking similar action.

Some things are bigger than basketball. The stand taken today by the players and org shows that we’re fed up. Enough is enough. Change needs to happen. I’m incredibly proud of our guys and we stand 100% behind our players ready to assist and bring about real change
