Nick Robertson sent a message to Toronto Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube on Saturday.
After being a healthy scratch the past three games, Robertson scored the team’s first two goals in a 5-0 win over the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Leafs temporarily moved five points ahead of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the race for first place in the Atlantic Division.
William Nylander also scored two goals for Toronto, while Austin Matthews capped the scoring. Anthony Stolarz registered the shutout in net.
The Leafs return to action Tuesday in Florida against the Panthers.
