The run up to Christmas this year is looking slightly different to how it normally would. We’re forgoing packed office parties for festive Zoom drinks, family reunions for scaled down socialising and bustling pubs for a bottle of red in our front rooms.

We all know how great the high street retailer is at nailing those festive ads, but it’s their thoughtful selection of perfect pick-me-ups that’s keeping us coming back this year. Their luxe loungewear offering not only includes great value sets from their own labels, but also a selection from brands that always top our list when recommending quality cosiness— Mint Velvet, Whistles & Hush, to name a few.
Last year, John Lewis & Partners introduced an excellent capsule of party outfits to suit all occasions (you might remember our editors trying it all on). This year it’s back, although now full of throw-on pieces that deliver maximum impact with minimal effort— these are pieces getting us excited about dressing up again, if only for our own satisfaction.
And, of course, it wouldn’t be a John Lewis & Partners Christmas without gifts a-plenty. We’re particularly lusting after the silk pillowcase, cashmere socks and Charlotte Tilbury lipstick (perfect for pepping yourself up for yet another Zoom meeting).
