- Orlando Pride coaches placed on leave amid NWSL probe
- Decision comes after recommendation by NWSL, NWSLPA
The Orlando Pride have placed head coach Amanda Cromwell and first assistant Sam Greene on temporary leave pending the results of an investigation into alleged retaliation, the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) club said on Tuesday.
The decision by the Pride came moments after the league and NWSL Players Association recommended the move. A decision regarding the two coaches’ future with the club will be made after the investigation concludes.
