Oilers even series against Kings with overtime win in Game 4

With a game-tying goal in the dying seconds of the third period and the winner in overtime, the Edmonton Oilers staged a dramatic comeback Sunday night to avoid being on the brink of elimination.

With their 4-3 victory, the Oilers have evened their first-round series deficit against the Los Angeles Kings to 2-2.

Leon Draisaitl played the hero for Edmonton in the extra frame, while Evan Bouchard scored twice and Corey Perry added the opener.

L.A.’s goals came from Trevor Moore, Warren Foegele and Kevin Fiala.

Oilers goaltender Calvin Pickard turned aside 38 of 41 shots in the win.

The series shifts back to Los Angeles for Game 5 on Tuesday. Coverage begins at 8 p.m. MT / 10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
