Oilers get road split with win over Stars in Game 2

The Edmonton Oilers are going home on even terms.

The visiting Oilers tied the Western Conference Final at 1-1 with a 3-0 win over the Dallas Stars on Friday.

After blowing a 3-1 lead in the third period in a 6-3 loss in Game 1, the Oilers didn’t give the Stars any hope of a comeback in Game 2.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Brett Kulak and Connor Brown scored for the Oilers, while Stuart Skinner registered the shutout.

The Oilers killed off both Stars power plays after giving up three power-play goals in Game 1.

Game 3 is Sunday in Edmonton.
