Oilers top Canucks to force winner-take-all Game 7

The all-Canadian matchup is headed for Game 7.

The Edmonton Oilers secured a commanding 5-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks in a must-win Game 6 to bring the winner-take-all Game 7 back to Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Following a quiet Game 5, Oilers captain Connor McDavid had a trademark bounce-back, finishing the contest with three points — all primary assists.

Nils Hoglander scored the only marker for the Canucks.

This is the first game of the series that was decided by more than one goal.

Game 7 is set to take place on Monday at 9 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
