Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers was arrested over the weekend for assault, strangulation and other charges after a disturbance at a home, police said on Monday.
Police in Braintree, Massachusetts said they were called to a home early on Saturday morning after reports of an altercation between two people. According to police, Peppers shoved a woman to the ground, pushed her head into a wall and placed his hands around her neck. The woman told police Peppers choked her at least six times and forced her out of the home. Police say she was treated by medical personnel at the scene after declining to go to hospital.
