Penny Oleksiak has become the most decorated Canadian Olympian in history, bar none.
The 21-year-old from Toronto claimed her seventh career Olympic medal — and third in the Tokyo Games — after capturing bronze in the women’s 4×100-metre medley relay Sunday.
In doing so, Oleksiak surpassed Cindy Klassen and Clara Hughes, who each claimed six medals during their own Olympic careers, to become Canada’s all-time best at the Games, winter or summer.
More to come.
