PSA: I Just Found M&S's Latest Designer-Looking Boots—They're Selling Out Fast

It has now become a well-known fact that watching Marks and Spencer’s new-in section always pays off, particularly when it comes to shoes. After many years of uncovering hidden gems and faithfully shopping at the high-street hero, it’s clear that M&S always delivers when it comes to trend lead pieces as well as wardrobe staples, and I’m always particularly pleased with myself when I uncover something new that I know you’ll love.

Good old M&S has had an incredibly good run of standout accessories in the last few months, and now that we’re contending with the frosty roads and icy winds that confirm we’re knee-deep into boot season, I’ve found the latest piece about to be the brand’s next best-seller, and they come influencer and editor-approved.

After the brand’s chunky Chelsea flatform boots became an overnight success, selling out only a couple of weeks after we shared them, the latest pair in the Who What Wear editor group chat is the leather block-heel ankle boots. As we would expect from Marks and Spencer, they score highly on the practicality and price fronts, but even better is just how sleek they look. Glossy, polished leather, an air of Western cowboy, on-trend square toes and a comfortable block heel? Now M&S, you are spoiling us.

If you needed anymore convincing of just how good these boots are, Francesca Saffari’s all leather and pink look and Rebekah Nkirote’s cosy cashmere styling should go some way to selling you on just how expensive these boots look. Whether dressing up a midi dress or a simple white tee and jeans, I was sold on the premium finish of these leather boots as soon as I saw them, but then I spotted the snakeskin versions too. Decisions, decisions…

A classic, contemporary boot that’ll add polish to any look.

Leopard print is timeless, and Zebra print had a big moment last year, but 2023 is all about snakeskin.

The viral black colourway have now sold out online, but there’s still a couple of size of the cream version left.

An easy, pull-on leather boot that comes in burgundy, black and matte white.

A chunky heeled knee-high for chilly days and cold evenings.

Difficult to secure online, but check your local store for these before they’re gone for good.

A cool, high street take on the designer rubber boots that have dominated the runways for the last 3 years.

Your wintery Christmas walks, sorted.
