Rachel Stevens’s Zero-Effort Coat, Trouser and Boot Combo Is So London

There’s nothing I love more than happening upon a celebrity outfit I can and would genuinely want to re-create. While I certainly enjoy living vicariously through the lives and wardrobes of the stars, there’s very little place for naked dresses and the such like in my day-to-day aesthetic. Instead, I’m always on the lookout for celebrity ensembles that are aspirational but still attainable, not only in budget but also aesthetic. That’s where Rachel Stevens‘s Instagram comes in.

Taking a moment to scroll her feed, it’s clear that Stevens is adept at creating impressive outfits that work well beyond a grid post; they’re sleek, grounded in their timelessness, and the sort I actually want to wear. Her latest upload encapsulates this perfectly, too. Consisting of a black coat complete with Mongolian sheepskin cuffs and collar (the sort I keep seeing on the streets of London), straight-leg leather trousers, and lug-sole boots ideal for the current cold snap, this is a prime example of how you can dress stylishly for winter without freezing. And that’s no small feat.

If that weren’t impressive enough, the coat comes from Rachel Stevens’s fashion capsule with high-street hero, Oasis. While it’s real leather, which naturally commands a higher cost, it does have a lower price tag than other iterations currently on the market. Her trousers? They’re also genuine leather but come from another high-street favourite, Arket. In true Who What Wear fashion, Stevens can’t resist the temptation of investing in a cult designer piece to round off her look; cue The Row‘s zip-front boots that have been on my wish list for a solid 24 months.

There’s something so elevated about this outfit, but when you break it down, it’s incredibly easy to emulate. Scroll on to shop Rachel Stevens’s exact pieces below, then continue on to shop other iterations of them below.

This coat is part of Rachel’s popular edit for Oasis.

The quickest way to make your outfits look luxe is with a tasteful logo belt.

Leather trousers have evolved from spray-on styles. Now, London girls favour straight-leg, kick-flare, or wide-leg iterations.

Every fashion person wants to own (or already owns) these The Row boots. Swoon.

Saks Potts put this coat trend back on the fashion map, so why not invest in one of the OG styles via a pre-loved platform.

These leather trousers come in sizes 6-24.

I love the squared-off toe and gold hardware on this pair.

This might have cream trimmings, but it looks just as chic as the all-black styles on the market.

Our Editor in Chief Hannah Almassi really rates this trouser from Abercrombie & Fitch.

Lug-sole boots are ideal for winter weather as they’ll grip more efficiently to the pavement.

Suede styles feel even more ’90s than leather.

I hear such great things about this Agolde leather trouser.

The matted leather is a nice touch.

This coat is coming soon; be sure to add your name to the wait list to find out when it lands.

Another H&M hero to add to your basket.

The extra chunky soles help make this Dune pair feel especially current.
