Raptors keep season alive, cut series deficit to 3-2 with win over 76ers

The Toronto Raptors‘ bid to make history remains alive.

The Raptors staved off elimination for the second game in a row on Monday, beating the host Philadelphia 76ers 102-88 in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series.

The Raptors have cut the series deficit to 3-2 with the series shifting back to Toronto for Game 6 on Thursday.

No NBA team has ever won a series after falling behind 3-0 in a series.

Toronto won without All-Star point guard Fred VanVleet, who is nursing a hip flexor strain.

Pascal Siakam led the Raptors with 23 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.

More to come.
