Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet said he is out of Monday night’s Game 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
VanVleet said that his MRI test results were “nothing too major but showing a hip flexor strain.”
The all-star guard left Game 4 in the second quarter with a hip injury, ripping his jersey in frustration. VanVleet averaged 13.8 points, 6.3 assists and three rebounds per game in Toronto’s first round playoff series.
