Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Dez Bryant said via Twitter Tuesday night that he was pulled from warm-ups ahead of the team’s tilt against the Dallas Cowboys and tested positive for COVID-19.
Soon after, Bryant tweeted that he was ready to “call it a quit for the rest of the season.”
The 32-year-old was set to face the Cowboys for the first time since being cut by the team two years ago.
Bryant’s positive test is the first for the Ravens in a week after the team emerged from an outbreak that saw a dozen players test positive in a 10-day stretch.
In three games since signing with the Ravens, Bryant has four catches for 28 yards.
