The Boston Red Sox have advanced to the American League Championship Series after a walk-off win over the Tampa Bay Rays 6-5 in Game 4 of their division series on Monday.
The win will send the AL’s only 100 win team home while the Red Sox, who defeated the New York Yankees in the wild-card game, return to the ALCS for the first time since 2018 when they won the World Series.
The Red Sox will either play the winner of the division series between the Houston Astros and Chicago White Sox. The Astros lead that series 2-1 with Game 4 set for Tuesday after a rainout Monday.
