After several meetings and nearly 17 hours of deliberation, Major League Baseball and its players ended negotiations early Tuesday morning, according to multiple reports. The sides did not reach a deal on a new collective bargaining agreement, but have reportedly pushed the deadline to salvage opening day to Tuesday at 5 p.m. ET after making progress toward a deal.
