Stafford, Rams take down 49ers to head to Super Bowl

The Los Angeles Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers 20-17 to win the NFC Championship and head to the Super Bowl for their second appearance in the last four seasons.

Matthew Stafford threw for 337 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the win, with Cooper Kupp leading the Rams with nine receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Gay’s two field goals in the fourth quarter helped the Rams complete the comeback.

Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 232 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the loss while Deebo Samuel led the 49ers in both rushing and receiving with 72 receiving yards for one touchdown and another 26 rushing yards.
