Affordable skincare brands are really where it’s at, and with so many incredible ones on the market, when Glow Hub landed on my doormat, I didn’t know what to expect. There’s a new skincare brand popping up every few minutes and often mimicking one that’s gone before it, so I was interested to see what Glow Hub would bring to the table.
A whole lot, that’s what. I love skincare, obviously. I wouldn’t be here making you read this otherwise, but sometimes it all gets a bit too serious. With complex-sounding ingredients and rules on how much, how often and how to apply, I needed a little injection of joy, and that’s what Glow Hub does best.
The all-for-under-£12 collection is designed to be personalised, so you can pick the products that work for your individual skin needs. They’re all colour-coded to make things super simple and divided into Calm & Soothe, Purify & Brighten and Nourish & Hydrate—something for every skin need. There’s even a quiz to help you out.
What stood out the most for me as I tried the products was the lightweight formulas, unexpected textures and natural actives. (Plus, everything smells so good.) If you’re looking to switch up your skincare routine for summer and actually have some fun, Glow Hub is the way to go.

Quite often, when I’m opening a new tub of a cleansing balm, I’m greeted by a really dense texture and a heavily fragranced, aromatherapy-vibe scent. This is not what went down here, and I can’t get enough of it. The balm has more of a mousse-like texture, which instantly melted into an oil when I massaged it onto my skin. I wasn’t expecting such a light formula to actually get rid of my full face of makeup, and it did. The scent is like a peach yogurt, in the very best way, and perfect for warm days.
Just as my mood was ebbing and flowing all over the place, my skin was also cycling through several different skin types when I tried the range. During a week where I was in need of some gentle exfoliation and balance, these pads were a game changer. Without the astringent hit that these sort of toning pads usually have, this was the sigh of relief I was waiting for.
It’s going to take me approximately 13 to 15 business days to get over how very exciting this product is. I’ve been trying a lot of face masks, and they’re one of my favourite skincare products, but the whole ordeal is a bit messy, isn’t it? I was able to live my best lazy-girl life and apply this while sitting on the sofa watching my shows without even a hint of messy fingers in sight. The actual product is great too. It didn’t weigh my face down, and my post-mask skin was brighter and more moisturised.
Oh, the sweet irony. I was rushing around and dropped half of this tub on the floor because stress. As I was contemplating either crying or screaming, I just applied some to my face and felt instantly calmer. The scent is subtle, and the hemp helped to soothe my irritated skin and mind. The texture felt like bare skin that was hydrated from within and was ideal for an evening of restorative yoga.
I probably applied way too much of this, but the holiday vibes from the scent had me mesmerised. While I may not be going out much, my skin has been loving the hydration boost so much that I decanted some into a spray bottle to keep by my desk.
