
Get ready to “Lay it on the line” Edmonton.
Canadian rock legends Triumph will reunite for a three-song set in the Ice District at “Rogers Festival at the Final” which will set the stage for Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final. Also performing at the free outdoor concert is award-winning rock band The Glorious Sons.
This wil be the first time Triumph will play in public together since 2008. Rik Emmett, Gil Moore and Mike Levine formed Triumph in 1975 and rose to fame in the late ’70s and ’80s.
Triumph has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and earned 18 gold and nine platinum certifications in Canada and the United States.

This is the culmination of a Playoff journey for Rogers and Triumph – Rogers’ Stanley Cup Playoffs commercial spot featured the band’s hit song “Lay It On The Line”, which sparked a surge in younger fans discovering the band via Shazam – the song immediately rose to number one on Shazam’s Canadian charts and stayed there for three weeks.
“We’re thrilled to bring Triumph to the Rogers Festival at the Final, building on the success of our ad campaign that introduced a whole new generation of music fans to this iconic band,” said Terrie Tweddle, the Chief Brand and Communications Officer at Rogers.
