Vancouver Canucks owner and chairman Francesco Aquilini will speak to the media Monday evening following his decision to fire general manager Jim Benning and head coach Travis Green Sunday.
Aquilini will be joined at the press conference by interim general manager Stan Smyl and new head coach Bruce Boudreau is scheduled to take questions from the media after Aquilini and Smyl.
The owner is expected to be asked about the on-ice performance this season, the larger plan for the team’s management group and why he decided to make the moves when he did, among other things.
