The Vancouver Canucks will be happy to put last season behind them.
The Canucks missed the playoffs and dealt with drama on and off the ice in a season that left everyone in the organization feeling disappointed.
Gone is head coach Rick Tocchet, replaced by Adam Foote, and back is Brock Boeser, who signed a new long-term contract after nearly reaching the open market.
Now training camp is here, and the team can take the first steps toward showing that last year’s troubles are behind them.
As camp opens, the Canucks will hold a media availability with Foote, general manager Patrick Allvin and president, hockey operations Jim Rutherford.
