A month after Brad Treliving left the job, the Calgary Flames will unveil former player Craig Conroy as the new general manager on Tuesday.
The Flames missed the playoffs this season, finishing with a 38-27-17 record, good for 93 points and fifth place in the Pacific Division.
Conroy will be tasked with turning the club around, not to mention hire a new coach, after Darryl Sutter was fired earlier this month.
Dave Nonis will also be introduced as assistant general manager and senior vice president of hockey operations.
