The Calgary Flames made a big splash on Wednesday, trading star goaltender Jacob Markstrom to the New Jersey Devils.
In exchange, the Flames will receive defenceman Kevin Bahl and a 2025 first-round pick from the Devils, while retaining 31.25 per cent of Markstrom’s remaining salary.
Now that the trade is official, Markstrom will speak to the media over Zoom to discuss his time in Calgary and the opportunity he has with the Devils.
