The NBA trade deadline passed on Thursday, with the Toronto Raptors playing a significant part in what proved to be a day that changed the landscape of the NBA.
The Raptors dealt Goran Dragic to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for veteran forward Thaddeus Young, ending the saga of how Dragic’s future would play out after his acquisition as part of the sign-and-trade deal that sent Kyle Lowry to Miami last summer.
