A new era of the Ottawa Senators begins this season as Michael Andlauer officially takes over as majority owner of the club.
Andlauer and a group of investors are purchasing the Senators — for a price near $1 billion USD — from the estate of late owner Eugene Melnyk. Melnyk’s daughters Anna and Olivia will retain 10 per cent of the club.
The Senators will introduce Andlauer with a press conference live Friday morning at the Canadian Tire Centre.
You can watch the press conference live on sportsnet.ca beginning at 11 a.m. ET/ 8 a.m. PT.
