We Looked Through 100s of H&M Dresses to Find the 27 Best

Ama makes her knitted slip dress work for an autumnal night out by adding a blazer and barely-there heels.

There are a few high-street stores I rely on all year round, but this autumn, I keep coming back to H&M. My wish list is pretty varied, from its staple tailored trousers to affordable knitwear, but it’s the dress category that has really caught my eye. And with so many autumn additions dropping in, now seems like as good a time as any to delve into the array of stylish dresses H&M has to offer.

To be honest, we would do anything for a great dress, so searching through hundreds to find the best ones is very on-brand for us. And as cost per wear is important, we’ve made sure these expensive-looking styles that’ll go the distance. Not only does H&M have standout styles for this season and beyond, but with sizes ranging from XS to 4XL, the sizing is so inclusive compared to a lot of high street stores.

One benefit of extensive searching is there’s plenty of variation among the best dresses, so every event and style is covered. Denim shirt dresses can be styled all year round, whilst little black dresses are the backbone of our wardrobes. A floaty silhouette suits warm, transeasonal days and adds extra comfort for those days when you need a roomier fit. Whatever style your wardrobe is missing, there’s something for you in our edit of the best H&M dresses. Read on to find your new autumn dress.
