Wild card Leona Maguire becomes Ireland’s first ever Solheim Cup player

  • Maguire finished 13th at Women’s Open on Sunday
  • Sanna Nuutinen edged out by Georgia Hall for qualification

Leona Maguire will become the first Irish player to compete in the Solheim Cup after being handed a wild card by European captain Catriona Matthew.
