The Stanley Cup Final is getting some extra bling with WWE releasing its first NHL-licensed title belt.
At the conclusion of the Final between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers, WWE will make the commemorative Stanley Cup belt available for purchase.
The title belt features custom side plats that will have the logo and markings of the winning team. The front of the belt prominently features an image of the Stanley Cup trophy with a hockey rink in the background as well as the WWE and NHL logo on the top and bottom.
NHL teams have been given custom WWE championship belts for winning the Stanley Cup in the past.
The NFL and MLB have a licensed deal with WWE for team-specific legacy title belts. There were reports in December that the NHL and WWE have a deal to make title belts.
Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final is scheduled for Saturday, starting at 8 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. MT on Sportsnet, Sportsnet+ and CBC.
