7 Rhode Skincare Products This Beauty Editor Can't Wait to Get Her Hands On

The wait is over—Rhode Skincare has finally launched in the UK. You can now get your hands on the much-anticipated skincare from Hailey Bieber’s beauty brand. Because if it’s good enough for Ms Bieber, it’s good enough for us too.

In an Instagram post, the brand announced that it would be landing on UK shores this month. “We are excited to announce that our full collection of glazed essentials will ship to the UK starting may 17th at 8am GMT,” the caption reads. “It is our mission to get efficacious, accessible skincare into the hands of as many people as possible. We can’t wait to take this next step on our journey with you all.” And now, today is that day!

The products come in at an reasonably affordable price-point (individual products are all £29 and under, but you can also buy skincare kits) and the brand has worked with dermatologists and cosmetic scientists to formulate the line of products, with the philosophy that skincare should be simple. Rather than featuring a 10-step collection of skincare steps, the edit feels curated and intentional. Among the range, you’ll find effective ingredients such a niacinamide, peptides and squalene, all of which support the skin barrier and promise that glazed glow that Bieber has become synonymous with, from her chrome nails to her glowing skin.

So, what should you buy from Rhode Skin now that it’s available in the UK? Below is an edit of the products this beauty editor can’t wait to try.

This light-weight gel-serum absorbs instantly on contact, with a roster of glow-giving ingredients including hyaluronic acid to hydrate, peptides to plump, niaciniamide to brighten and refine skin texture and macula oil, which is packed with fatty acids that nourish the skin. Think of this as a tall glass of water for your skin that gives a dewy finish.

If you’re in the market for something more cosseting (or if your skin is sometimes reactive or sensitive) then the Barrier Restore Cream is for you. Containing nourishing shea butter and squalene, it also helps to soothe and hydrate to restore your skin back to its happy place. You’ll also find plumping peptides and shielding antioxidants in the mix to aid skin elasticity and glow.

You’ll spot that this has several 5-star reviews, with reviewers noting that this has a super hydrating texture that drenches lips in moisture to plumping effect with a high-gloss shine. There are a couple of flavours to choose from, but unscented is a good pick if you’re sensitive to fragrances or prefer your lip balm to be unflavoured. You can also apply it liberally and use it as a hydrating lip mask for an extra hit off hydration.

If you do love your lip balms to be favoured, however, there are two delicious scents to choose from. Those with a sweet tooth will love this salted caramel formula, which has the same plumping effects of the unscented version.

If you like a fruity lip balm like me, then the watermelon slice flavour is a refreshing choice as we head into summer.

Want to try everything from the line? This set has you covered, which includes all three Lip Peptide Treatments, as well as the Barrier Restore Cream and  the Peptide Glazing Fluid.

If you’re the type of person like me who needs a lip balm on your bedside table, at your desk and in your bag, then this set is very appealing.
