Winnipeg Jets legend Dale Hawerchuk dies at 57 after battle with cancer

Winnipeg Jets legend and Hockey Hall of Famer Dale Hawerchuk has died after a battle with stomach cancer. He was 57.

His death was confirmed by the OHL’s Barrie Colts. Hawerchuk coached the Colts from 2010 to 2019.

It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of our head coach and friend, Dale Hawerchuk.
