Argonauts hold on to beat Blue Bombers for 18th Grey Cup title

The Toronto Argonauts won their 18th Grey Cup in franchise history earning a 24-23 win over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Toronto blocked a late field goal attempt by Winnipeg to secure the victory.

The Argonauts trailed the Blue Bombers 23-17 in the fourth quarter but a five-yard touchdown by running back A.J. Ouellette put them ahead late.

Backup quarterback Chad Kelly came in for starter McLeod Bethel-Thompson, who injured his hand in the fourth quarter, and led the team down the field.
