The Canadian men’s soccer team confirmed it will return to the field to face Curacao in a Nations League game on Thursday in Vancouver, Canada Soccer announced Tuesday.
Players refused to train for two days and also opted out of playing in a friendly against Panama on Sunday because of a compensation dispute heading into the country’s first World Cup appearance since 1986.
