Chris Sale scratched with back soreness, Grant Holmes to start must-win game for Braves

After dropping the first half of Monday’s doubleheader to the New York Mets, the Atlanta Braves won’t be able to turn to their ace, Chris Sale, with their season on the line.

Alex Anthopoulos announced that the 35-year-old was scratched with back soreness and that Grant Holmes will start in Sale’s place.
